It's a warm December day on Long Island. The grass is very green from all the rain we have been having and I'm enjoying the sun filtering into the front room of my house. The Christmas tree is still twinkling and my 4 year old daughter, Autumn, is enjoying a cup of cocoa after a brief swing outside. I've decided to start putting away the Christmas decorations a little at a time to take away some of that 'Christmas clutter' that likes to come around this time each year. There are no sewing projects on my table today, so I will end with a list of books we are currently reading that I recommend to those mothers like me who enjoy reading to their little girls!

The Mary Frances Sewing Book or Adventures among the Sewing People
by Jane Eayre Fryer

Little House on the Prairie
by Laure Ingalls Wilder

Stranger in the Woods, a photographic fantasy
by Carl R. Sams II & Jean Stoick

Happy Reading!.
